Sandals with Flip Flops -free crochet pattern-


It's finally warming up out there, and when that happens I automatically go into spring mode!  We've all seen the slippers made from flip flop soles, so I was pleased to find this crochet sandal pattern made from the soles of flip flops!  I love my flip flops, and I can't wait to play around with something like this!  They are adorable.

Materials: 
  • Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton in Ecru and Cafe Au Lait (1 skein each should make 2 pairs of shoes)
  • Sizes D 3.25mm and 2mm crochet hooks
  • Rubber sole flip flops 1 size smaller than you usually wear (mine are from Old Navy)
  • Sharp tool for poking holes in the sole, a skewer works great
  • Tapestry needle
  • Sharp scissors

Spiral Socks -free crochet pattern-


These cute crochet socks are adorable!  The spiral in the heel gives these socks a unique twist. This design is quite different than any other sock pattern that I have seen, as you begin at the heel!  Then you work the leg, and finish off with the foot and toe.  This pattern looks very interesting, I can't wait to give it a go. Tutti Frutti Slippers -free crochet pattern-

Fresh into a new year, why not try a new crochet technique?!  If you haven't tried the Tunisian entrelac stitch before, here's a great project to get started. The designer has included a video to help you out, which I know helps me greatly when trying something different, that sometimes words alone can be difficult to understand. And the result? A pair of fun crochet slippers!
